YMCA “HOOPS” 3×3 Basketball Program Grows with Strong Turnout

EVERETT, WA – November 25, 2025. The YMCA of Snohomish County is pleased to celebrate another successful season of HOOPS, the Y’s popular 3×3 basketball program for teens. After three seasons, HOOPS has continued to grow by expanding to both the Everett Y and Mill Creek Y this year.

Designed for teens in grades 8 to 12, HOOPS gives young athletes a fun and affordable way to stay active and connect with peers on Friday nights. For just $25 per season, participants can register as individuals or as a team of 3 to 5 players.

“We had an incredible turnout this season,” said Sam Toft, Teen Program Director at the Everett Family YMCA. “It’s exciting to see so many teens coming out every Friday night, filling the gym with energy and friendly competition. It’s what makes this program so special.”

This fall’s session wrapped up in mid-November, but the excitement doesn’t end there. HOOPS sessions take place periodically throughout the year, giving players new chances to join in and sharpen their skills.
