Programs

At the Y there is something for everyone!

We offer a wide variety of programs throughout the year for all age groups and interest levels.

Aquatics

The YMCA of Snohomish County believes that everyone should learn important water safety skills so they can explore a world of possibilities, and safely satisfy their natural curiosity. Progressive programs offer swimmers of all levels and abilities a path to build skills and develop confidence around the water.

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters helps children realize their potential and build their futures. We nurture children and strengthen communities. And we couldn’t do any of it without you. Since its inception, Big Brothers Big Sisters has operated under the belief that inherent in every child is the ability to succeed and thrive in life. As part of the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18. We develop positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

Camp

There’s a summer camp for every kid at the YMCA of Snohomish County! If your child is a budding scientist, an artist, an intrepid explorer, or anything in between, Y full and half-day camps are filled with fun and adventure for campers from preschoolers through teens.

Youth Leadership/Teens

Welcome to Youth Leadership at the Y! At the YMCA’s Youth Leadership program, we are dedicated to igniting the full potential of young individuals through a transformative journey that encompasses career-connected learning and academic achievement. Our approach thrives on inclusivity, creating a diverse and welcoming environment where every young person feels valued and empowered to lead. Through mentorship and a youth-led ethos, we not only cultivate the leaders of tomorrow but also nurture a community that champions collaboration, innovation, and the limitless possibilities that arise when young minds are given the guidance and opportunities they need to shine.

Youth Sports

The Y is the place to be for youth sports! Participants will learn new skills, burn some energy, disconnect from technology, and interact with their peers in a fun, safe environment. YMCA sports programs teach confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and other skills critical to healthy youth development.
