Our 2024 Commitment to Community
The YMCA of Snohomish County is committed to ensuring everyone has access to our programs and services. Removing financial barriers is one of the important ways the Y delivers on this commitment.
Being part of the Y means being part of community. This year our Y community will create a welcoming environment for more than 38,000 seniors and active older adults, inviting every person to feel a sense of belonging.
This year more than 137,00 of our neighbors will visit the YMCA 1,425,000+ times. It’s your support that ensures all in our community, regardless of their ability to pay, can experience the achievement, belonging, and friendship offered by membership at the Y.
Long before the gyms and swimming pools, the Y was a place for young people. Our commitment to youth development endures. Through your support, the Y will bring programs, mentorship, and a safe space to more than 46,000 Snohomish County youth.
Like many parts of our nation, Snohomish County is in critical need of more high quality, engaging, and affordable child care. Through the power of our community and your support, we’re looking to meet this need. Our association will serve over 1,800 youth, ensuring families can work knowing their child is in a safe, nurturing environment.
