SPLASH Week 2013: June 17-21 & June 24-28

SPLASH is a week-long celebration of water safety, teaching kids to be safe at the beach, the pool, the lake, and while boating. Knowing how to be safe in and around water helps kids feel proud and confident, and they will use that knowledge for the rest of their lives.

Five safety instructional sessions plus a 7-visit SPLASH Bonus Pass for only $10.

• Only swim when and where there is lifeguard on duty; never swim alone.
• Adults should constantly watch children in and near the water. If multiple adults are in the vicinity, designate a “water watcher” so everyone knows who is “on duty.”
• Inexperienced swimmers should take precaution and wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal floatation device (PFD) when in, on, or around the water.
• Children who are beginners should stay within an arm's reach of an adult in the water.
