Together, we can build a better us

2017 Annual Campaign Goal: $1,521,000

The Y. For a better us.™

Every day, the YMCA of Snohomish County gives our community the support it needs to learn, grow, and thrive.  From advocacy to adaptive programs, disease prevention to day camp, soccer to dance classes, everything we do helps strengthen our neighborhood and the people who live here.

But keeping our neighborhoods great is a full-time job. Every day, our community faces new challenges that create a greater need for the work we do. And we need your help to do it. Your gift can help Snohomish County and everyone in it shine.

For a better you. For a better community.

Inspiring Potential

Supporting academic achievement and inspiring kids to reach their greatest potential.

We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve, under the guidance of adults who care about them and believe in their potential. By providing a continuum of support from birth through high school, we see every interaction with young people as an opportunity for learning, leadership, and development.

“My child has learned how to share and get along with other children. He has learned how to follow rules, deal with his emotions, and to empathize with others. He will be ready for kindergarten when he is 5 because of the time he has spent at the YMCA.”

Helping Individuals Become Their Best Selves

Supporting individuals in their journey to become their best selves through opportunities for improved health and well-being.

We know that health and well-being are all about balance. That’s why we provide people of all ages and interests the resources and supportive environment needed to build and aintain healthy habits for spirit, mind, and body.

“The Diabetes Prevention Program has been a lifesaver for me. I feel like I’m in control now and I didn’t feel that way before. I am now exercising and meeting the goal of 150 minutes a week if not more, and I just feel so much better.”

Ensuring Opportunity for All

Ensuring access and inclusion so everyone has an opportunity to succeed and belong.

We bridge the gaps that divide people and neighborhoods across Snohomish County by bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds. With our members, volunteers, staff, and partners, we take on the most urgent needs in our community, bringing our cause to the people and neighborhoods that need us most.

“I am so appreciative of the scholarships you give. It allows all six of my foster/adopted kids to participate in at least one program. The kids love the experience, and staff are so great at accommodating special needs. Thank you!
