Get involved as a volunteer
The YMCA was founded by volunteers and is volunteer-driven. YMCA volunteers of all ages are provided with opportunities to share their talents, while learning new skills and developing meaningful relationships. Their dedication and commitment to helping others provides the framework that supports all of our YMCA programs.
Get involved as a donor
Children and families who cannot afford to pay full costs deserve the experiences the Y offers as much as those who can. Your support, which goes beyond membership fees, helps YMCAs provide programs to those who otherwise couldn't afford to participate.
Y-Community
Last year, more than 1,700 children lived in emergency and transitional shelters county-wide. Our Y-Community program was developed to help reduce the impact of homelessness and related traumas for children and families in the shelter and housing network within Snohomish County. Mentor a child
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County creates quality one-to-one mentoring relationships which will help children to achieve their highest potential. Being a Big Brother or Big Sister is something that almost anyone can do. The only requirement is a willingness to make a new friend and a desire to share some fun with a young person.
