Policy volunteers lead various boards and committees, while campaign volunteers lead our annual fundraising efforts. Program and youth volunteers serve in such activities as youth sports, teen programs, mentoring activities, child care, and special events.

As a cause-driven organization, the Y is able to strengthen community because of the dedicated youth, families, and individuals who share our passion. They give their time, resources, and talents—every day in thousands of ways—because they know they can improve the lives of others while enhancing their own lives through the Y.

“It is truly inspiring to hear about the significant contributions being made from just a sampling of our 2,000+ volunteers,” said YMCA President/CEO Scott Washburn. “The impact that all of our volunteers have on our community is invaluable and what makes the YMCA what it is - a volunteer lead organization that strengthens the foundations of our community.”
