Rookie Sports Programs (programs vary by season)

Rookie Sports
Rookie Sports is for children age 3-6, designed to the basics of a sport in a fun, non-competitive environment. No score is kept and everyone plays - parents are encouraged to participate. This is truly a family environment that is fun for everyone. Volunteer coaches are always needed. 
 
 
Rookie T-Ball

The program is designed for younger ages to help players learn basic baseball skills. T-Ball participants learn the basics of hitting, catching, throwing and running bases. There will be 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game time each day.

Rookie Basketball
This program provides the opportunity to learn fundamental basketball skills.  The game is modified to accommodate special goal heights and ball sizes. Every player has the opportunity to play at least half of each game.  

Rookie Indoor Soccer
Don't miss out on the action! Soccer is an exciting sport combining team play and individual skills. Learn the basics of kicking, passing, defense, teamwork and sportsmanship with the emphasis on participation and fun. No cleats please - we play indoor. There will be 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game time each day.

Rookie Floor Hockey
Learn to play hockey without ice or pads. Players learn the basics of passing, stick handling, shooting, defense, teamwork and sportsmanship in a non-competitive environment while having fun! There are 30 minutes of practice and 30 minutes of game time each day.


Other Sports Programs (programs vary by season) 

Cheer Club

Learn cheerleading fundamentals, and perform at Rookie games! Children age 3-10 will learn sideline chants, jumps and kicks with an emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship. 

Family Kickball
Kids age 10 and up, with a parent, learn the fundamentals of baseball and soccer. A 30-minute practice is followed by a 30-minute game. Sharpen kicking, catching and running skills while enjoying family oriented sportsmanship and teamwork!
