Know Before You Go
A well-planned outing can make the difference between a life-long memory and a disaster. Beautiful, sunny conditions where you live do not guarantee the same on a mountain trail. The climate is unpredictable in the Cascade Mountains. Plan for rain in any season and snow in the spring and fall. The sun can be damaging at higher elevations, so wear appropriate clothing and a good sun-block. Click here for more information about Know Before You Go.
