Armed Services YMCA |
The YMCA has provided educational, recreational, social and religious support to the military since 1861.
Sponsored by the YMCA of Snohomish County, Naval Station Everett is an Affiliate of the Armed Services YMCA of the USA.
The Armed Services YMCA provides collaborative support to Naval Station Everett for a variety of activities, including:
- Drug Education for Youth (DEFY) Program
- Community Resource & Referral
- Annual Healthy Kids Day
- Annual Naval Station Halloween Activity
- Annual Children's Holiday Market
- Family Programs
- Naval Station Indoctrinations
- Financial Assistance for YMCA membership/programs

Eligible military families and personnel include:
- Family members of deployed National Guard and Reservists
- Active Duty families who live in one of the selected Joint Bases created by the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) process (contact Military OneSource at 1-800-342-9647 for a list of Joint Bases)
- Active Duty Independent Duty personnel and their families as approved by their Military Service Headquarters (click here for form)
- Relocated spouses and family members of deployed Active Duty personnel.
Getting Started Eligible military families and personnel should follow these steps to benefit from the YMCA Military Outreach initiative:
- Contact Military OneSource to confirm eligibility. Download eligibility form.
- Find a participating YMCA in your area.
- Fill out and bring your eligibility form, Military ID, and any other required documentation (generally your Deployment Orders or Military Service Headquarters approval letter) to a participating YMCA.
