Our programs are state-licensed, recognized by YMCA of the USA for high quality, and meet quality standards set by the National School-Age Care Alliance. School-Age care is available during the summer as YMCA Day Camp.

We are affordable
Like all Y programs, child care is affordable and open to all. We offer a variety of payment options, including a sliding fee scale. Our financial assistance program is funded by contributions to our annual Invest in Youth campaign and United Way. We also accept DSHS subsidies.

We’re your neighbors
The YMCA is the largest child care provider in Snohomish County, serving thousands of children in dozens of locations. Transportation, if needed, is provided. Programs vary by location.

We’re here when you need us
Y School-Age Care is dependable and convenient, every school day from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. with optional care for school holidays and breaks. Summer programs provide weekly themes and field trips, offering creative links for children to learn new things.

We employ dedicated, professional staff
The YMCA staff has the patience to listen and the experience to challenge children to be their best. Low staff-to-child ratios ensure the greatest possible interaction and safety for your child. All site directors are 21 or older, fully licensed, and participate in ongoing certified YMCA training.

We tailor to your child’s enrichment
Y School-Age Care provides programs to meet the individual needs of your child. Curriculum includes extended learning opportunities such as homework support, literacy development, games, sports, arts and crafts, cooking, drama, service learning and science activities.

To succeed in life, young people need positive external supports and internal strengths – Developmental Assets. We use this approach to give your child a firm foundation upon which to build. Our developmental curriculum promotes self-esteem, character development, conflict resolution, social skills and positive values.
