    To support YMCA of Snohomish County’s development plans, The Everett Clinic Foundation will give $150,000 and The Everett Clinic will give $350,000 over five years for a total gift of $500,000.

    Just in time to launch its annual fundraising campaign, Stanwood-Camano YMCA has settled into a new home — at 9031 271st St. NW in Stanwood.

    “It’s not the capital campaign kick off,” said Dawne Wentworth, the local manager. “This is the annual fundraising campaign for programs.”

    The YMCA strengthens communities in other ways as well — including healthy living.

Since 2012, the YMCA has helped more than 1,000 youth in the Stanwood-Camano community by providing summer activities, social time, service programs, homework help, college information, and career development.
