Looking for a fun fitness class for the whole family? Then join us the last Friday of every month for a FREE family dance party! Each month will feature a different exciting dress-up theme. Instructor, Anabel Bentley, will lead participants in a variety of dances the whole family will love! Plus stay afterwards for more family fun with themed activities.

Learn confidence, safety awareness, self-defense, discipline and respect, all while having fun! Supervised physical contact is allowed on between qualified ranking students. Belt promotions are scheduled when level requirements are achieved. Parents are welcome to observe! A white martial arts uniform is suggested.

Adaptive Needs Cooking & Art Program
Adaptive needs classes are designed for individuals ages 7+ requiring additional assistance with programs. Participants will create creative art projects and healthy foods in the kitchen.

Fee $15 (plus $25 participant if applicable)
A Pilates based class that takes place on the reformer, as well as on the mats using Pilates props and method. This class will increase strength, flexibility, balance, fluidity in movement and core strength. This class is designed for :
- The athlete needing to strengthen non dominant muscles to prevent injury.
- Those who have suffered an injury or experience joint pain with impact strength training.
- Individuals wanting to experience the benefits of the Pilates method.
February 3-24 (4 classes)
Tuesdays 9:30-10:30 am
A total body workout that fuses traditional ballet barre techniques with resistance training. This advanced level class will tone, define sculpt and lengthen muscles by using seamless, fluid movements, Barre Sculpt will also increase flexibility and improve the body’s overall strength.
January 22 – February 26
Thursdays, 8:30-9:30 am AND
Thursdays, 6-7 pm (2 separate sessions must choose one)
Whats Happening in our Aquatics program
The Monroe/Sky Valley Family YMCA offers a wide variety of aquatic programs, including: swim lessons (private and group), water fitness classes, master swim for adults, kids swim team, open swim, Sky Valley swimming, Adaptive swim and much more.
Teaching kids to learn how to swim is our specialty. We offer classes as young as 6 months up, teens and adults too, this is a life skill everyone should have.
This is for anyone who is interested in improving your stroke, technique and endurance while participating in a friendly swim team atmosphere. This class is offered, as a part of your membership, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 5:30-7am.
